Mastery is in the Listening

“Ben is an extraordinary acting teacher whose passion, insight, humour, and diligence have completely transformed my approach to acting. His deep understanding of Shakespearean text made what once felt daunting now feel accessible and alive.
Through his guidance, I learned how to break down scripts with clarity and precision, unlocking layers of meaning I had never noticed before. His keen eye for technical detail helped refine my overall skills, making me a more confident and versatile performer. Ben’s ability to inspire, challenge, and support his students is truly remarkable—he doesn’t just teach, he elevates. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!”

Laurence James-Davis

“Benjamin’s classes are really thought-out and planned. He’s always happy to stay behind to answer questions, and you come away feeling like you’ve gained something. A huge thank you, Benjamin!”

Jemma Bentley

“One of the biggest lessons I took away from that mentoring [of Paulina’s speech] was the power of simply allowing. Instead of forcing or overthinking the huge emotional shifts, I learned to trust the work, let it happen naturally, and remove the pressure of “should.” That shift alone has been a game-changer in how I approach performance.”

Acting

Surrender

to the moment

Actor: a noble and ancient profession. We entertain, we challenge and we connect to audiences in a way that few other art forms can.

Within a year of graduating from RADA, I stepped into the role of a leading man at the Royal Shakespeare Company. By my second year, I was touring Europe playing Macbeth, and in my third, I led a six-month sell-out run in London’s West End. These early milestones set the stage for a career defined by collaboration with some of the most visionary minds in theatre.

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside luminaries such as Gregory Doran (RSC), David Hare (Playwright), Lucy Bailey (Director), Meera Syal (Actor, Writer, Comedian), Rob Hastie (National Theatre), Tom Burke (Actor), Mike Bartlett (Playwright), and Lolita Chakrabarti (Actor and Playwright), among others. Each collaboration has deepened my understanding of the craft and reinforced my commitment to storytelling that resonates with truth and power.

Voice Acting

Each word

is a diamond

Voice acting is about creating a full, vivid character using only your voice. Unlike stage acting, where physicality and presence play a huge role, voice work relies entirely on vocal nuance, tone, and emotional clarity.
